Submerged

Green reflections dancing on moving waters
yet, appearing to be stationary

Leaves afloat
keeping pace with ripple after ripple

Sunshine melting through the clouds
maneuvering itself through webs of vegetation
Casting it’s glory on large, smooth, wet rocks

He lies half submerged in the cooling waters
watching the creation of trees above
Some almost looking surreal,
mirroring sunlit waters on their trunks

No worries or concerns,
he lies, out of the worldly trance

He thought he is only ‘half submerged’,
not knowing that God had drowned him
just in that One Glance
